Crossroads Clinic Celebrates a New Chapter in Brooks

Crossroads Clinic Celebrates a New Chapter in Brooks

More than 40 years of community service and support were celebrated on September 23, 2026, as Crossroads Clinic officially opened its new location in Brooks.

The grand re-opening marked much more than a change of address. It represented the continued growth of an organization that has spent decades walking alongside individuals and families during challenging moments in their lives. What began as a response to needs in the local community has evolved over the years, but the organization’s commitment has remained consistent: providing people with compassionate support, helpful information and a safe place to turn.

Throughout its history, Crossroads Clinic has offered education, practical assistance and support for individuals experiencing grief, loss and other difficult circumstances. Its new building provides dedicated space for programs and education, along with a child-friendly environment and a Baby Resource Room. The larger facility will also allow the organization to expand its services and explore new opportunities to support individuals and families in Brooks and the surrounding area.

The new location has been designed to be welcoming and accessible. It is intended to be a place where people know they are not alone, where questions can be asked without fear and where individuals can receive compassionate care, practical resources and reliable information. The organization’s mission is centred on empowering individuals to achieve greater wholeness through healthy and informed choices. That mission continues to guide Crossroads Clinic as it begins this next chapter of service.

The grand opening also provided an opportunity to recognize the many people who helped make the new facility possible. Over the years, volunteers, staff members, board members, churches, community organizations, donors and supporters have contributed their time, talents and financial support to the organization. Their dedication helped turn the vision for a new facility into a reality.

As the ribbon was cut on September 23, the celebration was not simply about a building. It was a celebration of Crossroads Clinic’s history, the generosity of the community and the individuals and families who will walk through its doors in the years ahead.

The new Crossroads Clinic is located at 103C, 2nd Avenue West in Brooks. More information about its programs and services is available through the organization’s website at crossroadsclinic.ca.
