About

The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) Medicine Hat Branch is one of ten branches in Alberta. We are a volunteer‑driven community of engineering and geoscience professionals dedicated to strengthening the professions across 37 communities. The branch supports APEGA’s mandate through local outreach, professional development, and member engagement initiatives that connect practitioners, students, industry, and the broader community.

Through events such as technical talks, networking sessions, student outreach activities, and STEM programming, the branch helps foster professional excellence and inspire the next generation of engineers and geoscientists. Volunteers collaborate with educators, community partners, and industry leaders to promote awareness of engineering and geoscience, encourage youth participation in STEM, and support ongoing learning for members at all career stages.
