Special Olympics Canada Summer Games Medicine Hat 2026

Description

The Special Olympics Canada Summer Games are scheduled to take place in Medicine Hat from August 11 to 15, 2026. As is customary with large community events, this gathering is anticipated to generate a substantial economic impact for our municipality. 

Athletes, coaches, family members, and supporters from all Canadian provinces and territories will be present to participate in or attend the competitions. These visitors will also contribute to the local economy by patronizing our businesses and restaurants. An event of this scale requires broad community support to ensure its successful execution, and as such, we are asking for your assistance. As part of our essential fundraising initiatives, we have produced window decals available for purchase at a cost of $250. These decals can be prominently displayed on your business frontage to signify your proud support of the Games. It is anticipated that both local residents and visitors will observe this emblem and be encouraged to patronize your establishment in turn. Additional levels of sponsorship are also available.
