We’d like to invite you to join us in making our city shine brighter, starting on Earth Day, April 22, and extending through May 22, 2024 for our Litter Blitz. This month-long effort is aimed at beautifying our city by cleaning up litter. We're calling on organizations, schools, and all residents to take part in this community initiative!  Here's how you can take part:

Date: Earth Day, Monday, April 22, 2024

Time: ALL DAY! Supplies are available for pick-up now until May 22 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Parks Office at 88 Kipling Street. 

Join us for an Appreciation BBQ starting at 5 pm on April 22. Please RSVP by scanning the QR code in the attachment provided or RSVP to the Appreciation BBQ here!

Contest: From April 22 - May 22, we will be hosting a Litter Blitz contest! To win a night at a comfort cabin at Gas City Campground, share a photo of yourself, your family, or friends participating in the community clean-up or doing your part and tag the City of Medicine Hat.  The contest will be announced and shared on the City of Medicine Hat's Facebook page. The winner will be contacted directly.
