2022 Business Awards

Description

To celebrate and kick off the 2022 National Small Business Week the Medicine Hat & District Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Business Award ceremony on October 14th. The event provides an opportunity for Medicine Hat and Southeast Alberta to recognize the outstanding achievements of our business community.

 At 5:30pm, guests will arrive to an exquisite 1920s atmosphere, with live jazz, casino games, hors d’oeuvres, and beverage service. This will be an excellent opportunity for networking, enjoying food and drink, and taking photos in your 1920's attire before the main event begins. Guests will be ushered to the Main Theatre at 6:30pm for the first selection of awards to be presented. A brief intermission will occur around 8:30pm, giving guests another opportunity to network while enjoying some fine champagne. Following the intermission, the second selection of awards will resume at 9:45pm. After the awards have been presented, a door prize winner will be drawn and there will be one final opportunity to enjoy the festivities before the event concludes.

“A New Era of Roaring Success” was chosen as this year’s theme to signify the ‘Roaring 20’s’ of this century. Similar to the 1920’s, our 2020’s are the beginning of a united force in supporting and strengthening our local economic prosperity. As we navigate the ‘Roaring 20’s’ of this century we celebrate our businesses, past and present, that have weathered the challenges and have emerged with new ideas, innovative practices, and even stronger connections.
